In partnership with our supplier, Lyreco, we have just set up a collection and recycling solution for masks at the end of their life.
In the entrance hall of the company's headquarters is a collection box.
Employees can drop off their masks and those of their family members in order to act jointly for the environment.100% of the mask is recycled and used in the manufacture of new products :
- Blue part: the polypropylene contained in the blue part of the masks is used to manufacture new products in recycled plastic.
- Nose bar of the mask : the metal of the bar is sent to the metallurgical industry.
- Elastics : the elastane is incinerated to be used for public heating.
The project was a great success, thanks to the support of the employees.
